Jessica (Clancy) Strawn, MA, is a registered dietitian with nearly 20 years of experience and has also worked as a cosmetologist for 18 years. Her diverse background, enriched by working and traveling in London, studying in Mexico, and exploring numerous continents, countries, states, and islands, brings a wealth of experience to her storytelling, offering readers a unique and engaging perspective.

 

Jessica has numerous publications featured on DocWire, along with one shared on SmartBrief. She is the author of The Quest for Family and has written various supporting media articles that share her personal story of resilience, advocacy for family, and dedication to helping others.

Jessica aspires to inspire people to set differences aside and become like family for those who have none—just as she once did. She encourages unity, teamwork, and collective action to create meaningful change and make the world a better place.

Jessica dreams of creating a transitional living community for individuals facing significant life changes. Her vision is to support those aging out of foster care, single mothers, women navigating divorce or hardship, and young adults seeking to develop essential life skills—all within a hostel-style living environment that fosters growth, independence, and community.
